Segun Adaju

Segun Adaju, the CEO of Consistent Energy Limited and immediate past President of the Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN), is a distinguished international expert with over two decades of banking experience in Nigeria.

A graduate of the University of Lagos with BSc and MBA degrees, Segun has honed his skills through executive education at prestigious institutions like Harvard Business School, MIT/Sloan School of Management, and Lagos Business School. His commitment to renewable energy is evident in his leadership roles and extensive consulting services for institutions such as UNDP, World Bank, African Development Bank, and more. Segun’s advocacy extends to gender mainstreaming in the renewable energy sector, and he has played pivotal roles in shaping Nigeria’s policy framework, contributing to the nation’s commitment to sustainable energy development.

His notable projects include the first energy access program funded by UNDP, the development of sectoral plans for Nigeria’s Nationally Determined Commitments, and various solar initiatives powering schools and healthcare centers.

As Team Lead for renewable energy under the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, President of REAN, and a member of the Technical Working Group for Nigeria’s Medium-Term National Development Plan, Segun continues to be a driving force in advancing solar energy on a global scale.
